I first want to say that I am EXTREMELY PROUD of Trina of The Baby Shopaholic. Neiman Marcus+Baby Shopaholic=Meant to Be.
I had the pleasure of attending this fabulous event. The In-Store Stylist, Dave gave us a fabulous presentation of the most current spring and summer trends for this season. Neiman Marcus is the department store that sets the tone for Upcoming and Exclusive Trends in the Retail Industry.
CUSP is the moderately affordable collection by Neiman Marcus. It showcases lines from with price points ranging from the early 100′s to around mid 400′s. This is a great way to still attain your fashions from Neiman’s at a great price. I, honestly think that retailers are seeing that these days, We need more bang for our buck. (Never have I shopped at Neiman’s but for someone that wants to get a little extra frisky with their budget. PLEASE VISIT CUSP.)
David, gave a fabulous presentation of EFFORTLESS CHIC. How to look stylish without a lot of effort. Having a wardrobe with several Grab-N-Go items makes getting dressed a simple task. Above is my favorite looks. The pop of fuschia in the dress and the snakeskin clutch, screams GIRL’S Night Out. And it is priced at about $100.
Below are some of the other trends that were highlighted in the presentation.
Floral Print and Neon
Tribal Print and High-Low Skirt
Asymmetrical Top, Knee Length Shorts and Platform Heels (Charlotte Olympia, to be exact. Check out my post on the Look For Less-Charlotte Olympia Heels)
Florals Again and Neutral Tones with Pueter Wedge Sandals (Christian Louboutin)
Sparkly Sequins Evening Dress
Maxi Skirt with Color of the Season “Coral”
2 Fashion Tips that you will need to keep in mind for the upcoming Fall Season 2012:
We were also presented with Swag from Neiman Marcus. I loved the fragrance samples that we received. I cannot stop wearing my Tom Ford fragrance sample. I am almost done.
Last but not least, like a dingbat I forgot to get any pictures of myself, so I am stealing these pictures from my fellow bloggers.(Sorry for the enormous picture, I am still learning how to resize with iPhoto. Forgive me.)

I had the pleasure of attending the Infinite Appeal Reign Fashion Show at Georgia State University. They Know How to Put On A Show!!! The models were beautiful and the clothes were to die for. I wanted all of those pieces in my wardrobe.
I selected 3 of my favorite looks(which was not easy) from the show.
Thank you so much to Infinite Appeal and Nicole from GSU for the invitation. The Show was a Class Act.
NOW FOR MY OUTFIT THAT WAS UNDER $20 (Exclude the price of the shoes). My shirt, pants, and necklace were from Forever 21 totaling $19.00. WHAT A STEAL. I am proud of myself for this little number. YEAH ME!!!

Last Month, I participated in the 2nd Annual Swapnista Blogger Style Wars Competition. Keren Charles of Two Stylish Kays is the Founder of this great event. It was held at House of Adrene in Atlanta’s CastleBerry Hill District.
I am always such a nervous wreck when it comes to walking the runway. As I said in my OPEN LETTER, I am shy and do not like to be the center of attention. But I have pushed myself yet again, to break out of my mold.
Local Bloggers from the Atlanta Area were given a Trend for the Spring Season and had create their own looks to “RIP THE RUNWAY”.
The Spring Trend that I choose was COLORBLOCKING.
I have been on the prowl for a long high split skirt for years. H&M finally answered my prayers. Sometimes trying to put a outfit together in my mind is a project within it’s self. But thanks to the help of a Great Associate at H&M (Caleyah) we came across this hot pink beauty. THANKS AGAIN CALEYAH!!! YOU WERE THE BEST.
I had to take the skirt to get altered because it was very long. I am about 5’5 and it was literally a train full of fabric on the floor. *So if you are a little lady like myself, you might have to get this altered just a bit*
Last but not least we cannot forget the STARS OF THE SHOW, ZARA I BASIC SANDAL for $49.90. Unless, you have been living under a rock, the ZARA I BASIC SANDAL is the Shoe of The Summer. My favorite item in my closet, right now.
SO, HOW DID YOU LIKE MY COLORBLOCKING? And YES, THAT IS THE ANGELINA LEG,
