 Gel Nail Polish is the BEST!!! A manicure that last more than 4 days is a miracle. I recently went for a little self-pampering for the holidays and decided to go with the Gelish Gel Nail Polish Manicure.

There were a variety of nail polish colors to choose from. I decided on the Gelish High Bridge (pictured below). I loved the pink and sparkles.

When getting a gel polish manicure the process of applying the polish is slightly different.

Here is the process for Gel Polish application:

1. Clean/Soak the nails and push back the cuticles

2. Apply the Gelish Base Coat

3. Place your nails under UV Light for 2 minutes

4. Apply Gelish Gel Polish with 2 coats

5. Place nails back under the UV Light for 2 minutes

6. Apply Gelish Top Coat

7. Once last time under the UV Light for 2 minutes

And, then you are done. Just that fast. No long drying time. Once you are finished under the UV Lights, your nails are dry. I really enjoyed the short dry time and no worry of smearing or chipping.

Gel Nail Polish are longer lasting than your average manicure. They last at least for 2 weeks or more. I have officially hit my first week and there is not a chip in sight. For $20 I am extremely satisfied.

So any of you, that have thought about try Gelish Gel Nail Polish, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

I was in my Bloglovin account, doing my daily reading of my favorite blogs and I was drawn to a post by indie.electronic.alternative. 

She recently turned 29 and gave some of her tips for looking young. I was amazed for her to say that she was that old. I thought she was at least in her early 20′s. Any advice she is willing to give, I will listen because she is must have done something right, SHE IS GORGEOUS!!! NOT A WRINKLE IN SIGHT.

 I turned 27 on September 7 th and as you head near 30 you start to been a little more concerned with the aging process. So I plan on taking care of my skin to eliminate the signs of wrinkles and hard aging.

 Here are FIVE TIPS TO STAY LOOKING YOUNG:

1. She states to DRINK LOTS OF WATER. Drinking water hydrates your skin. Carbonated drinks that are high in sugar are not good for your skin or health.

2. SAY NO TO DRUGS AND SMOKING. What can age you faster that illegal substance and cigarettes? *P.S. And for me I recommend not to drink either. I have never taken a sip of Alcohol and I do not plan on doing so.

 3. Use Sunscreen Daily. I have not adapted this practice yet but I am buying a face cream that has SPF included. I will make that a necessity.

ROC’s Mutli Correxion Skin Renewing Serum  $22.39

4. Using a Anti-Aging Wrinkle Serum. She recommends ROC’s Mutli Correxion Skin Renewing Serum. I am planning on using a  Anti-Aging from now so that I can prevent wrinkles before they even start.

 5. Good Diet, Exercise, and Sleep. She is a on a very moderate diet of Lean Protein and Gluten-Free foods. I am going to make an effort to eat better, exercise more, and get plenty of sleep.

Makeup Care is a Beauty priority. Caring for your cosmetics are very important. Many of us, do not know that makeup does actually have a expiration date.

Making sure your cosmetics in your makeup bag are not due for expiration is essential to skincare. Expired makeup can damage and alter your skin’s appearance.
